    U-Joint / Driveshaft?

Great replies. If the OP is concerned about services to the Ujoint, it's easy to do in your garage.

Save your money. It's another off-the-shelf built to a certain body type that you may or may not fit. Go Rusell and be one-and-done.

    Passenger Seat Luggage Options

Heavy cordura range bag of the size needed. Look for one's with cordura flaps over the zippers. Once a year douse it in aerosol water repellent to add to it's inherent protections. Strap to passenger seat.

    Selling? Handling Test Ride Requests

Around here we had a spate of people showing up on X and leaving it behind when they steal yours during a test ride. Fake D/L, etc. Cash-in-hand before a test ride with parameters for how to get a refund.

    Passenger Seat Luggage Options

I got a heavy-duty range/tool bag of the size I want. I make sure there are velco-sealing flaps over all zippers and then soak it yearly (exterior heavy soaking spray) with a heavy duty Scotch Guard of some type. I went with something that has few external pockets and was the heaviest Cordura I...

    Bottom Phished by dealer website

Yeah. If they have handed their internet rudder over to "the computer guy" (or service) and allow that to happen, then they are just as culpable, IMO.

It's why everyone should learn to read the URL string (http...) and look at it before clicking.

    Bottom Phished by dealer website

If you want to, you can look at the root link (gmail.com, fjr-tips.org, etc.) of the link that flipped on you. Look up the customer service contact for that company (gmail, fjr-tips, etc.) and report the original link, the changes, the ad reference, and your experience. Sometimes that can start...

    Looking to wrap my FJR

Doesn't matter if the paint is original or not. It has to be removed a certain way to avoid damage. Most people end up going back to the same wrap company to have it removed for about the 3rd of the cost of the installation. So Much<>None If on a wrap, the damage would be likely to be much...

    Fuel gauge questions

60 miles on reserve is good. Knowing your range under different terrain and weather conditions is better. ;)

    Looking to wrap my FJR

Too thin to affect magnets. HOWEVER the pressure of the magnets might compress the wrap in that area (visible dimples) or tear the wrap if removed with a swipe across the surface.

Split: Off-topic about front brake light switch recall

If it's a recall, then a dealer should do it under the recall; regardless of the current owner.

Is a FJR a money thing?

While the FJR is certainly easier to maintain than my previous 3 bikes (variations of Gold Wings) they could only match each other in reliability (none exceeding the other).

    Looking to wrap my FJR

Wraps (from personal experience with wrapping my car): No more car washes. All hand washing. Doesn't play well with rubbing (shiney wrap turns dull, and vice versa). Doesn't weather well, so parking outside in SWestern summers will kill them, etc. Removing takes the same lever of expertise as...
