Michelin PR 3's out any day now

I like what you have done with the color.... kind of blends in with the surroundings... The PR3s are looking good for 13,000.... may need to give em a try soon. The "dutch" in me is having a hard time ponying up the extra $ for the PR3s vs PR2s.

    Good, Bag & Ugly photos!

If it was anyone other than LowAndSilent, I would give em a hard time..... coolest thing about going to the darkside is you no longer need to put your sidestand down when you stop.... may actually shave a few minutes off your rally time...

Iggy Wins the Good, Bad and the Ugly Rally!

Iggy....My hero!!!! Congratulations on another excellent finish. You are definately on a roll this year my friend. I am guessing that it has something to do with the water in Pasco, WA. The same water that Peter Behm drank in large quanitities at your place prior to the IBR start. I smell a...

HD finally admits that Loud Pipes cost...

Agree that this is long overdue. Good on the HD President and CEO to take this position. The "writing is on the wall". The industry needs to take a strong united position on this soon..... or the general public will continue to take a stronger stand via sound by-laws, motorcycle bans etc...

A truely bad year in the LD community

I know a lot of long distance riders are posting their condolences on the LDRider list. Truly another sad day for the LD community. We have had too many "sad" days this year with the deaths of several exceptionally experienced riders in what appear to be "freak" accidents that could happen to...

Ice Roads film on bikes !

Yes....that is the place. Not sure about the town named Tiger-something.... just south of the Pinery park is a place called Ipperwash , but the military are no longer there. The native americans in the area laid claim to the land and the rest is history..... Small world eh?

Is a radar detector really worth it?

I am still siting on the fence on this one.... Being from Ontario, Canada where they are illegal, I have spent most of my riding career without a detector. However, 2 years ago I picked up a V1 for use in the United States (except Virginia). My rule is to never ride more than 8mph over the...

Riding though Canda from Sault Ste Marie to Thunder Bay

Just rode that stretch the 2nd week of June and no major issues/construction at that time. I am sure brick1 and Bungie can chime in with their expertise as this in in their backyard. You will have no problem with gas during the day, however, gas availability at night can be more challenging if...
