    Garauld Refreshment System

Looks great....very slick. I have two of the original designed units but I would definitely consider your design as a future replacement The only consideration I would give would be to the possibility that the bottom of the cooler may rotate due to vibration. The top strap plate may hold the...

    New PIAA 1100 LED

I have a set of the older PIA1100X fork mounted using brackets from Martin Manufacturing. Very nice but a little pricy. About 50,000 miles with no issues. Mounting the lights down lower on the forks is not ideal for increasing the lighting power at night. I use mine for increased daytime...

Givi E46 rear trunk - Like or Dislike?

I have used the same V46 on my last 3 bikes (FJ1200,ST1100,FJR)... ~ 70,000 miles with no issues. I have replaced the V46 cover with a colour match for each bike. I actually have the FJR OEM topbox sitting at home unused as I prefer the Givi (really need to get around to posting it for sale!)...

Question for people that own the Lee Parks Gloves

I have two pairs of the Lee Parks Gloves (one pair with gauntlet and one without). They are my preferred gloved for most rides and I highly recommend them. As indicated they are not water resistant/proof. I have not tried the phase change gloves. I carry a pair of BMW Winter Pro or Summer Pro...

    Toronto Motorcycle Supershow

Tom, Great to bump into you at the show.... never did see Pam. Great show. Most entertaining was my discussion with a BMW sales rep. I was checking out the 2012 1200RT (very nice) and I overheard some sales rep badmouthing the reliability of the FJR and ST and indicating that the engines...

This guy is out of control....

For what it is worth.... I use 3 GP's on my FJR for LD rallying only. My main unit (Garmin 2820)is routed to the next bonus location. The secondary unit (zumo 550) is either routed to the next bonus location or the checkpoint to give me an ETA. It is also the backup unit in the event the main...

    Toronto Motorcycle Supershow

I plan on heading down Friday morning with a few friends. Tom, chances are that I will bump into you and Pam. Seems strange that we live around the corner from each other but I usually end up bumping into you at far away places....

2013 IBR FJR Riders Private Area

Hi guys, Great to be a part of the FJR team again! Looking forward to catching up with some old FJR friends. Bike is battle tested and ready to go. Only a few adjustments required to the bike based on some minor things that bothered me last year. Hoping that the new Shoei modular comes out...

    IBR Help! Leaking Rear Drive

Great pics! Would have liked to have been there to learn more about the FD. Being the concerned parent....I probably would have just been in the way! Thanks again L&S for everything. You and the other PNW FJRers rock!

    We lost a forum member

I just read the news. It is overwhelming, heart breaking and so unexpected. I first met Greg at Iggy's prior to the IBR and we quickly became friends. I will miss him. My thought and prayers are with his family and friends.
