    British Bike as "other" bike?

Own two Brit bikes, a newer Bonnie and older Matchless, soon to be replaced by a new-old Rickman. I would love to ride a Vincent but Id worry about taking it out. The value of Vincents has climbed to some seriously high values! Glad you get to ride one! They are impressive machines. Best motor...

    Finding Bullitt

If you were watching coverage of the Detroit Auto show today, you heard about the news - Ford surprised the press by introducing the missing 1968 Mustang - the hero car that Steve drove in the original film - with Steve's granddaughter Molly McQueen announcing the car just after unveiling the...

Riding stats for the year 2017

No health issues, but embarrassingly low miles - probably under 2k across 6 bikes. No excuses.

    4 wheels and 2 wheels

Met up with Sportsguy in the high desert and did 130 glorious miles on Hwy 74 and into Idywild and Hemet. He in his Z4 and me in the black 914. Wonderful roads! Loaded the flat six into the truck and 1300 miles later I should be home!

    4 wheels and 2 wheels

Well, in pursuit of this 4 wheel itch, I am doing a 2500 (RT) road trip with my youngest son to pick up a flat six 2.7 for the blue car. Just before I left, I picked up a fully steerable runner with shiny newly restored suspension pieces from a 911. When I return later in the week, we'll get...

    4 wheels and 2 wheels

I like the idea of purpose driven rides. Helps quell the boredom of riding roads you know well. Good idea Baker Boy. Carver knows the fun of dirt bikes. 2 hours is all you need and the workout is good too. George, get moving on that shop! Itd be fun to help out and then you can do some tech...

    4 wheels and 2 wheels

A BMW convertible shouldnt have a race suspension as the chassis flexes too much. I am guessing it has stiffer Springs and shocks which can be changed to stock. You should check the control arm and tie rod bushings. If they havent been replaced the car will ride harshly. Those are critical...

    4 wheels and 2 wheels

I completely get the urge to build it yourself - the nice thing about the Cobra kits is that the build is pretty easy - especially if you go with a crate motor. That said, the cheaper way to go is to find one that someone did all the nice stuff, and buy it for much less than he spent. You can...

    Thunderhill Raceway visit

That looks like fun! I've always wanted to take the MV Agusta on a track but (this sounds cheesey) I worry about dumping the bike.
