After spending a couple days chasing electrical ghosts, she was ready for PIE!

My bride and I rode Rose and son Jason, visiting from Seattlish, rode Lucille. (Knowing how many people she was shared with when she was BeemerDonS' gal, it felt good to keep the tradition alive.)

The route down was I-5 to 76 to 79 to 78 - just under 90 miles.

We returned via Ramona & Escondido - 78 to I-5, just over 80 miles.

The weather & traffic conspired with the bikes & food to make it a PERFECT day.

Most excellent. How is Julian these days? I nearly went by on Jan. 4th, but rerouted home instead of continuing the journey after Lake Isabella, Death Valley, Joshua Tree, etc.

Btw, great pic! Looks like you all had fun.

Julian is timeless.

Of course, compared to a few decades ago, it has changed some.

My neighbor asked this morning "is it still 'hippie'"?. That's when I realized that, like most of us, it has grown up a little!

Main Street is a fun place for tourists to eat and shop for souvenirs, and we have a place we like to have pie - a years-long tradition that we missed in 2017.

The Ride is the thing. You can get pie anywhere.

Fuckoing Awesome!

Naomi lives as well!

I posted on your FB page.

How about 3 of Don's bike at Julians?

After 4/1/18 I'm free pretty much all the time..

Let me know. This is ****** important to me.

Sounds like a great idea!

We'll be gone from about 20 April-7 May, so either before or after works for me. You make the call.

Congrats on the retirement. It sucks, but we manage to make the best of it.
