Thumbs Up for Morgan Carb Tune

I agree with the Carb Tune thumbs up. Had the liquid contraption and had trouble with it most of the time, the company sent me a replacement but it was very frustrating to work with. The carb tune is a breeze, it is a great product.

    Trip from Fl to AZ

Ok we need some ideas and insider info. last year my wife and I rode to SD for our anniversary trip it was great but a bit cool since we took our Motorport suits and not the Roadcraft suits. Was a great ride, but we want to plan a bit better for this trip. The time we have set aside is May...

Something to amuse the frosty folk

Hope it does not get as cold this winter as it did last winter. I had a canal full of dead mullet, they closed the snook season due to the fish kill :angry2: . Also not good for the manatees.

Complete Illustrated Guide to Head Lamp Replacement

Great write up, my right low beam just went out today(while on a 1,650 mile trip). I was wondering how I am going change it, got 72,000 miles out of the bulb. I guess I have been lucky.

    Starcom question

I am not sure what is causing your Starcom problems but the trouble that I had with mine was caused by the helmet micophone/speaker set. I noticed fading, crackling, microphone sensetivity and all sort of other electrical problems till I changed out the headset. Originally thought my starcom was...

A fantastic upgrade for next gen FJR

I use a Glacier Tech cooling vest, I put it in the freezer and it keeps me cool for 2 hours. It is great for the commute home which takes about 1 hour 15 min. The evaporation vests don't work all that well in Florida since the humidity is already 100%. My cooling vest fits under my cycleport...

Need advise on 2008 or 2011 to buy

I have a 08 and no stalling issues. Go with the one that you like, a good deal is always nice but you will see the bike every day, so go with the color you like. I am sure you will love either model.

    Travel Observations

I havent notice a "heat issue" from the FJR even in 100+ temps. It is a 1300 cc motor and there is going to be heat.

How is the FJR around town?

I ride the FJR to work(48 miles one way) and find it easy to maneuver both on 2 lane roads passing slow vehicles and in city traffic. Had one guy tell me once " I want to get a light bike like that next" I told him that it was not all that light and got the reply that "you whip it around like...

    Scraped my can...

On my last trip to the "dragon" I scraped the right can as well. I do have to place the boots with the toes on the pegs or the boots get it. I still have not figured out how to tuck my leg, in order not to get my goot cought, and hang off to get more clerance.
