    Fall Foliage Ride(s)

Beth and I would like to make this it is only 7hrs from Indy to the Old Clark Inn. I really like the look of the place and the 24/25 is the best for us. How long before we pull the trigger and make reservations? I just spoke with Andrea at the Old Clark Inn and at this moment they have 9 rooms...

Another Great Indiana road bites the dust

For those who love to ride the twisties a sad day has come. IN 135 south of Story all the way to 50 has been tared and chipped. It will be loose fine gravel for the rest of the year and very rough surface but less loose come spring. Not a road I will ever want to play hard on again.

    Patching Roadsmart...anyone else have trouble?

    Patching Roadsmart...anyone else have trouble?

I put a tire plug in a rear RS and it did not hold so I trippled the plug ropes and it still did not hold. Annoyed I dismounted the tire and patched it on the inside like I should have done in the first place. It still leaked just a super slow weep. I am going to get a bigger tougher patch...

IndyGP, Are you going look here.

I live near Indy, 20 minutes from the track. I do not have tickets for this year I cannot afford them. But I will still help with anything. I have 2 acres of yard for tents and 2 extra beds, 2 couches. If anyone wants to save the cost of a hotel and just happens to have a extra ticket, the room...

    damaged paint with polishing compound

Sounds like the above is true. You were using a coarse compound and it fogged the clearcoat. You really can't remove scratches with compound very easily. Usually they are sanded out with 1500 grit wet sandpaper and then buffed out with compound. If and ONLY if the scratches are WHITE ALL THE...

    Deer Season

Yep the feej does about as well as the GL1800. I smoked right through the front shoulder of the deer and spun the deer so its *** came around and slammed into the saddlebag. 4800$ in damage to the bike. Bike was stable the whole time and ye ole antilocks were just a buzzin'. I brake hard now...

Rode to work today, came out and bike would not run

Just as a point of reference you should get about an 1 ohm for every 20 feet of 22 gauge wire. In your case you have a larger and shorter wire it should have read zero.
