    Sena SMH10 | Zumo 665 | iPhone

Which one would that be? I'm already running 4.2 The latest and it's not IMHO where it shoudl be. My 665 is running v2.9 of the firmware, audio is OK on phonecalls for inbound calls, but outbound calls are useless. I think this is a Zumo firmware problem. Same thing with not being able to...

Mountain, are you using in-ear earphones? or speakers with earplugs, like foam or custom earplugs? -MD

Might be a Garmin 2.9 thing, I'll delete and repair today, if that doesn't work consider going back to 2.8... (or back to Starcomm for the mean time).

OK, I tried this combination last fall and booted it cause it sucked *** with Sena 4.x firmware. I heard good things now that 4.1 was out and now apparently 4.2 I've got about 4 hours ride time with it and these are the issues I have. - Volume, overall volume is still about 80% of where it...

Anyone have a spare ignition switch laying around?

Thanks for the offers folks. I pulled my Brodie switch harness tonight and the symptoms are gone. Brodie let me know that some of the relays that he used had started failing. Good thing it's in a socket and will be a 5 second replacement, I'll get two and carry a spare :) Thanks Brodie. -MD

Anyone have a spare ignition switch laying around?

Now that I think about it, I also have Brodies, ignition switch bypass, circuit beefer-uper harness too. Hrm, ****, but I Think it's the contacts in the switch itself. -MD

Anyone have a spare ignition switch laying around?

Oh, the reason I'm asking the collective, is I'd really rather not get stranded during the upcoming Mason Dixon 2020 Rally. I'll call my local dealer tomorrow, but they are usually less than helpful. Bike is out of warranty, so I suspect unless yamaha steps up I'll need to buy a switch this...

Anyone have a spare ignition switch laying around?

I think mine is going bad again. 06, has been repalced under recal, in fact I replaced it. That said, I didn't have any issues prior to replacing it so, doing the recal was simply a preventative measure. Symptoms: Turn Key on, Gauges sweep, hit the starter, bike fires, then dies. Gauges...

    Lighting issue at start up.

Your symptoms are the same as mine, high beam indicator on (but I had no lights), and bizarre turn signal behavior. The Spider that was dicked up on mine was (as you are sitting on the bike) on the left side in the nose, kind of under the left headlight. I'm 99% sure the nose had to come off...

    Lighting issue at start up.

That's the S7 or S6 spider? One of the ones the recall doesn't actually address up in the nose. (DAMHIK) All in all it's not that bad/hard to fix or at least mine wasn't. I RnR'd it when I installed the Brodie harness cause I wasn't going to give my bike to a dealer for some undetermined...

    AE headlight bulb replacement?

It is a fundamenal pain in the ***. But if you're the least bit mechanical you can do it without removing anything. You *might* need to borrow some small hands. I guess it would also depend on how much a dealer would charge you to do this. Personally, I'd probalby pay $50 but I wouldn't...

    Hyper-lite Service/Support Experience?

I believe Terry who was Sampson Sport Touring was ill and passed away recently, and by recently I mean Saturday the 16th. Which would explain the lack of service. I've had nothing but good support from him in the past. It's been the actual hyper-light product quality that has been an issue...

Trade/swap Gen II FJR panels to change colors?

Yes it has been done... Finding a dance partner will be the hardest part. The rest of the work is a 12-pack job with the nose being the most complicated.
