    *** 2005 Gen 1 ABS 13,000 miles ***

The best FJR ever! Great price for the best bike out there! WOW! My cowboy math says you only rode this less than 1k/year! Good luck!

    I kissed a GSA...and I liked it

Dave; Stop drinking the Kool Aid! BMW - Bring More Wallet! I'll never own another BMW AGAIN! Had a 1996 K1100R, my daily rider, lovely when it didn't need work. Which was a lot! With only 50K miles on it the bike went thru two out put shafts, three clutches, and twice replacing the seal at...

ear buds or in helmet bluetooth

+1. Protect your hearing with earbuds and don't have the volume too high on bluetoothed tunes, etc.

A picture might help too. I'd like to see what the blue matte metallic looks like.

    Canadian Superbike Series

I've been following CSBK the last few years, Jordan pretty much dominates. What I can't believe are the goat trail tracks they ride on on, OMG! They are in horrible shape. Those winters take a toll on them. Makes the riders that much better to have less than pristine conditions dealing with on...

Don, Please don't leave the house. Stay inside do not climb stairs or a ladder. Do not touch any mechanical tools or devices. Stay put. Take your meds then slowly venture out and explore... Just trying to help...

    FJR1300 Won't restart when hot

Hmmmm. Although I don't have a Gen3 I would be interested to know what happened. Other things not mention: How long has it been doing this? How many miles on the bike? How often do you ride it? When did it start doing this (miles and date)? Any indication it started having more mild problems...

    Is it Dead?

One thing not mentioned was how old the battery is and how often you ride (to keep a charge) etc. My take is the battery is shot and no amount of trickle charging will bring more electrons back to life. I'm assuming it's a lead acid battery and they don't have that long a life. If you don't ride...

Outdoor cover needed for this summer, recommendations?

+1 Dowco Guardian. I bought mine many many years back and about every two years I got it replaced for free because it decayed in the sun. Got three new ones as it had a life time warranty, not sure if they still do.
