    Rush-ing To Houston

Best ride report ever. I was inspired to download the Kindle app for my pc, so that I could buy and read Ghost Rider. Yer costing me money, dude.

Single Best Farkle Ever - what have you added that you rate as #1?

Looking at it from a slightly different POV, I asked myself, if someone told me I had to return the bike to stock except for ONE farkle, which one would I keep? No question, I would keep my Russel seat. Other improvements don't count for much when my butt is aching and burning.

    Fall Tech Meet thank you

You got it. But first, on the Audi farkle, were the LED strips mounted inside the lens cover or outside? Ok, on the Muth signal mirrors. These are a "universal" unit, three inches diameter. The mirror spot I chose to mount them on does not compromise rearward viewing on the stock gen2...

    Fall Tech Meet thank you

EDIT: Yes, thank you Brian and Marissa, for your hospitality and graciousness. You two put on a great event. I didn't do any work on my own machine, but got to watch hands on work on a valve check/adjust, a TBS, and watch Hudson install a PCV with Auto Tune. And I got lot's of pics of other...

    Fall Tech Meet thank you

Yes, it made quite an entrance. I really, really like it. I must have it. I was leaving just as they arrived. Can anyone fill me in as to how it was done?

I'm the newest member of the crash club

I tipped over on the left side the other day in a parking lot while practicing low speed u-turns, trying to turn full lock left. I did have sliders and I know they saved me some lower left fairing gouges. Left bag did get some scratches. And I slapped my helmet against the pavement pretty...

Insulate the air box for more hp

Well, that is why I used the word "supposedly". If I did go and spend the money, the power would be there, even if only in my mind, dammit.

Insulate the air box for more hp

That's kinda what I was thinking about this. So your airbox is insulated, that does not affect the temp of the air coming into the airbox.

Insulate the air box for more hp

No, I seldom run the rpm's higher than 6500. However, their website states that the power and torque is noticeable right off idle. The power is supposedly there all across the powerband.

    Just Illuminated my Air Vents

Yeah. I think blue lights are a no no just about everywhere. Good luck, let us know if J. Law doesn't like it.

Rear wheel slip, was this "shaft effect"

Tar snakes. Slippery when hot or wet.

Insulate the air box for more hp

Wondering if anyone on the forum has any experience with this particular horsepower mod. The idea is to insulate the air induction box, thus keeping the inside of the box cooler, thus making more power. This company, performanceandperfection.com focuses primarily on sport bikes, but when I...

    Russell Seat Colors

Or you could go the other direction and pick a color and pattern that you like, and have the passenger seat simply re-covered to match the riders seat.

For those with Heli Bar Risers and Tank Bags - let's talk

Helibar top triple clamp with a Cortech magnetic bag. Horn button has been known to hit the bag at parking lot speeds, causing embarrassment. So I just pull the bag waaaayyy back towards my belly and let it support said belly. Wurd.
