Suzuki to cancel up to 200 dealer contracts

Hope this doesn't impact the Canuck operations.... Griff

Cross Canada Motorcycle Trip, Vancouver to St. John's, Nfld.

Ok, so that makes two of us, and I'm pretty sure we can convince a few more ... meet ya in Pictou for a loop of the Trail before hitting the ferry in Sydney? (with apologies for the thread hijack...) Griff

New Tom Tom Rider coming out

I spoke with TomTom Customer Service for North America on the phone yesterday - no official release date for US and Canada yet, but they confirm that it will be available here... sometime. Griff

    Calgary Tech Day?

I don't know any blue eyed sheiks... so come on down! Coffee pot's always on, and probably a pot of venison chili too (at least on tech day). Might even be some cold ales in the fridge. I am riding to Georgia 9 May, so the dates need to be prior to that. Still haven't heard from anyone (prolly...

Nothing about it (or any previous Rider models) on the TomTom Canadian website... I've sent a note asking about availability. Griff

Quick Question - Need To Know Which Wire Under Seat

My '06 is straight light blue, for the tail/running light, don't see a red tracer on it anywhere. Might be a red tracer forward of the connector (under the left side panel, but under the seat is just light blue. Griff

New Tom Tom Rider coming out

Looks like an interesting alternative to the Zumo for sure, especially if you don't need all the bells and whistles. I'll be keeping an eye out for it here in Canuckistan... Griff

Garmin 765T successfully paired with Cardo G4

At $10 bucks each, it'd be worth having several for when they break... or suck up water. I've ordered one to give it a try Thanks Fred! Griff

Garmin 765T successfully paired with Cardo G4

Thanks MartinH... I have an old StreetPilot 2820, which is weatherproof on it's own without being in an aquabox, and I like being able to use the touch screen as is; hence the issue for me is attaching a Bluetooth dongle that is weather resistant so I can connect to the 2820 without locking the...

Garmin 765T successfully paired with Cardo G4

Thanks Fred... Ideally I'd like something very compact like what the OP used, and weatherproof. Not sure if they make one like that but if not, a plastic bag and an elastic band is way cheaper than a Zumo. Griff

Garmin 765T successfully paired with Cardo G4

Hmmm... interesting. Wonder if that will work for the audio port on my 2820? I have Cardo now (mostly for bike to bike now that the wife is riding her own) and was thinking I'd have to buy a Zumo to get connectivity with the headset (previously was on Autocom). If it could be made waterproof...

    F/S- SCORPION EXO-1100

I have the EXO modular... great helmet, very quiet. Assume the 1100 has same fit? Not sure what it would cost to get it up here to Canuckistan, but definitely interested. PM sent

    May Run

Likely Saturday. At a conference in Savannah until Friday noon (ish). If that plan changes (ie, get out of town on Thursday), I'll get to Conway on Friday in time for some ales :drinks: Griff

    May Run

Hmmm.... shortest (AKA most boring) route from Savannah to Conway is 1100-odd miles.... Might just have to leave a bit earlier on Friday :) Griff
