My reasoning there (after having been crowded / threatened by cell users many times) is that the drunks know they are impaired and try to keep a low profile. The cell phone wackos think they are the only ones on the road.
At least cell users / inattentive drivers seem to be a lot more common here.
In automotive applications I have seen hollow bolts used to shear off when over torqued in order to save damage to a more expensive part.
If you want a solid bolt, the gen 3 and R1 etc uses Yamaha pn 90105-10638
I had a similar drop at a gravel turn around. I also have the canyon cagees and bag guards. The bike fell with its top lower than the tires and it took 3 of us to get it righted. Luckily I didn't have as much damage.
This and the fact I need a mounting point for more lights got me thinking that...

I just scored one of the GX air jackets on ebay (XL) It came without a liner...Have any of he GX air owners here happened to wear out thir jacket?
