Well the insurance adjuster was here today and went through the bike. though it didnt look all that bad the final tally was $5300 with labor. He said he also had concerns about the forks being right though he did not include this on the estimate. My thinking is that a 2004 non abs with 43k miles...

UPDATE: Havent had a chance to email Lee but I can tell you that 1 liter is precisely enough to fill both forks.

I am not sure what this would do, the breaks are clearly dragging on the rotors. Otherwise everything is aligned and if the brakes are not pumped up the wheel spins just fine.

Ok, I took my front wheel and forks off to replace the fork oil and when I put my front wheel back on and pumped the leavers until the hydrolics were pressing the pads against the rotors. I then let go of the handels and gave the front wheel a spin and the wheel didnt turn more than a quarter...

Ok so I am replacing the oil in my forks and i have the Traxxion Dynamics AK 20 fork cartridge. Does it take more than a liter of oil to do both? I bought a liter of fork oil (not quite 34 Oz) and I just drained about 18 Oz out. My problem is that in this hick town I live in I have to mail order...

State Farm only does 12 month policies. that said they will allow what you propose, I cancel all but comp as soon as the first snow and dont change coverage back until around March. it does save you some money and is worth the phone call.
