Left Knoxville at 6 AM to beat the rain; which didn't work:) Road 400 of the 500 miles home in heavy rain and dropping temps. I had my heated vest with me and was warm and dry. Had a great time as usual! Thanks to those who put this together!

The Parkway can be ridden in a day, especially during the winter when no one is up there for the most part. Problem is, you'll want to take a few pictures:)

To be more accurate and fair the engineering of this car was good. The ergonomics , design, and handling were great. The problem was build quality and specifically the quality of the parts provided by suppliers.

My daughter had a Jetta for awhile and it was nothing but trouble..... The battery kept going dead and I finally figured out the alternator had a short in it. Among other things: -broken door handles -windows that would spontaneously fall due to broken mounts -coil packs subject to shorts...

I had a similar problem on my 07 and it turned out the connections on the starter relay were corroded. I cleaned the connections and all is well. Good luck!
