Meet the Twisty - Chicago Pizza meet - Short notice!

I'm pretty sure that I was the only Twisty in the midwest, but now that I'm home they're completely Twisty-less. I didn't even see a good clover leaf. :pig_ball: Yep, we are a bit spoiled, for sure. :cold:

Meet the Twisty - Chicago Pizza meet - Short notice!

Wow, what a great time! Thanks to all of you who came out on such short notice. It was good to see some old friends (Wheaton, Oface & Griff) and a pleasure to meet some new friends (MXVet and MrsGriff). The only thing that would have made it better would have been to go for a ride afterward...

6700 miles on a front tire?

I've NEVER gotten that many miles out of a front or rear tire. Feel fortunate. 4-5K is normal for me, but my bike is allergic to slab. I can't seem to make it go there. When I first got the bike, I was wearing the front faster than the rear. After a while, I started wearing them about evenly...

    NW Georgia ride July 30?

Yeah, we ride NW Georgia almost every weekend too, and usually with the eFn's, but it is our (me and MrsTwisty's) anniversary, so we are going to go do something together. Maybe catch you next time.

    Tire Pressure Recommendation

I agree. I don't vary much from what's posted on the swingarm, and I check the pressure weekly.

    Chattanooga area Memorial Weekend 2011

If you would like a tour guide for that weekend, I might available, but that's a long way out. I grew up in Chattanooga and currently live between Atlanta and Chattanooga. I know all the good roads in the area.

    FJR Mileage Milestones

I've got a little over 75K on my '07. Kinda wimpy compared to some.

How many times can you reuse the driveshaft drain plug washer/gasket?

Stock crush washers on every bike I've ever owned and I have never replaced them and never had an oil leak.

    Starcom1 Advance Noise Problem

I mounted mine too close to my PCIII and it did that. I moved my Starcom all the way back to the tail section in front of the tail lights and it solved the problem.

FJRs on the dragon courtesy of Killboy.com

I don't think so. I know that is WellsJ in the bright yellow jacket bringing up the rear (as usual). Next is RisleyFJR in the gray and black jacket. I can easily recognize their best side. :P I don't recognize the 2nd FJR, but the lead FJR is most likely eFnJustRide or Fubar. Some of these...

    Cortisone injections

Worked on my knees, not on my elbow. Merely a temporary fix.

Motorcycles are not inherently dangerous, but they are extremely unforgiving.

Wow! Glad you fared better than your bike. Sorry about your bike.

    mikrokopter

Very cool. I'm sure the military would be interested, maybe even police. I'd bet the military already has something similar.
