I've NEVER gotten that many miles out of a front or rear tire. Feel fortunate. 4-5K is normal for me, but my bike is allergic to slab. I can't seem to make it go there. When I first got the bike, I was wearing the front faster than the rear. After a while, I started wearing them about evenly...

Yeah, we ride NW Georgia almost every weekend too, and usually with the eFn's, but it is our (me and MrsTwisty's) anniversary, so we are going to go do something together. Maybe catch you next time.

Stock crush washers on every bike I've ever owned and I have never replaced them and never had an oil leak.

I mounted mine too close to my PCIII and it did that. I moved my Starcom all the way back to the tail section in front of the tail lights and it solved the problem.
