I only really enjoy riding when my wife is along for the ride. She has no interest in driving, just likes to sight see on the back. Since we got the Sena units it's even better. We don't talk that much except for the usual "Hey, check that out!" type stuff.

What you do depends on the weather. If you lived up here in New England you'd just say "1150? Close enough!" and fix it after the snow flies. Wouldn't want to lose any diminishing riding time. But I see you're in FL and just coming into the riding season so you'll likely fix it now. ;-)

Now that my bike is 10 years old, I'm glad I never spent the money to repair the scratches from my tipovers. I have good news; plastic doesn't rust if it's scratched!! By the way, I can't see a single scratch when seated on the bike.

In New England the police have the ability to enforce traffic laws on private property that provides public access (parking lots). They can, and do, enforce handicap parking and fire zone violations for example.

I've got a PR3 on the back with a PR2 on the front. I like the feel of the PR3 better than the 2. I'll probably try a 3 on the front next. I hate the buzz u you get from the 2 during the 2k to 4k miles part of the tire's life.

You'll want to head over to motocampers.com. Read some of the entries by "Dusty Boots", a Canadian who has camped extensively in the southwest. He has some excellent reviews of sights to see, sites to camp, and gear he uses.

Only downside of a rear pto mower is that it's easier to hit stuff with it. On the plus side; easy on off, and all the dust is behind you. Mine is a 48" Kubota with about 25 years on it. Got about 1.3 acres o' grass.

In new england the roads have been paved so many times that the average curb is only 3 or 4 inches high so ya just drive over it an down the sidewalk. Do watch out for those pesky pedestrians, tho...

Run the azero. Sunlight and ozone are what age tires the most. I wager the old azero is still stickier than a new PR2. On the rear I prefer the PR3 to the PR2. If the azeros were still made I'd run those. Simply amazing in the rain.
