    High Speed Thumping

I've got an '06 and it has the thunk. Or a kinda 'cunk' that resembles the old school skateboard wheels on a concrete sidewalk------at SPEED----- Kinda a hard thumping. Fast and multiple cunks per second. Like others, I've only experienced this at track speeds starting at about 105, and living...

    Fuel Cell Mount

When I did my rack, the sump on the cell let me lower the tank so that the fuel line exited to the rear under the cowling. I made it out of steel and used the seat latch mechanism as a holdown. Showed it to WC who wanted it to be either bolted or strapped down. When I got to looking at the mods...

    Puckered Sphincter - for real

Thanks for sharing! Was your camera mounted on your helmet? I see a couple of things. That blind rise before the turn in didn't help the situation. Is that road in an area that is popular with campers dragging trailers? Around here in Utah, ALL the tight rights have gravel from the trailers...

Most accidents happen w/in 5 minutes of home?

EEK!! Reminds me of a near miss I had approaching the Tappan Zee Bridge on a 48 Plus IBA ride a few years ago. Thick traffic moving at full speed, and a nasty construction zone that seemed to b designed by the laborers on the site. Out of the corner of my eye I see a car occupying my lane at...

    Windshield Removal

When those black plastic windshield srews get chewed up by the phillips screwdriver- :dribble: Take a heat gun or a flame and heat up the screwdriver nice and hot. :devilsmiley: Then, press in a new phillips pattern into the screw that matches your screwdriver!
