You can use any FJR shock except for an ES shock. I think the Gen. 3 model "A" shocks are dirt cheap on some of the sites. Google FJR shock, or Replacement fjr1300 shock, or such. Easy peasy to change a Gen. 1 shock, not so easy for Gen. 2 because of the ABS stuff in the way.

I came up from behind a fellow on a BMW yesterday, and was amazed at how his Yellow Hi-Viz jacket stood out, even when I was a LONG way behind him. Unfortunately, I need an XL. I DO need to make sure my next jacket has at least some Hi-Viz material on the back.

Interesting fact, to me at least. I was watching a series on South Carolina on TV and they said that at one time, early in the states history, the PRIMARY export was deer hides, that went to Europe. Also interesting, later on, primary export was RICE and a LOT of it went to China. LOL
