    I'll check out the DMP S-Spec Track Stands. This type of stand will work fine as long as it doesn't lift the front too much. The one I have does lift it too high. Thanks

    Misfire and then died.

    You may have an ignition switch problem. There is a recall on the 2008 for that. I had that problem, the dealer replaced the switch, and I've had no more problems so far. My trouble seem to come up riding in hot temps. Good luck

    They said that they covered it; no way the stains were done by them. Looks like replacing the instruments runs close to $800 for the part.

    Just got my FJR back from the shop today after fluid changes. They splattered brake fluid over the instruments. Speedo, tach, and fuel gauges are all stained. Anyone had any luck removing a mess like this without replacing the instrument cluster?

    Throttlemeister and Hot Grip install question

    I saw their advice. I also had seen a few posts from others who have installed the combination. It looks like the inside of the grip will have to grinded down, or the friction tube on the TM grinded to make them work. I was looking for someone who may have done the install. Thanks for your help

    Looking for special instructions necessary to install Hot Grips with a Throttlemeister on a '08 FJR1300A model. The HG throttle grip looks too small to fit over the friction sleeve in the TM kit.
