Throttlemeister and Hot Grip install question

Looking for special instructions necessary to install Hot Grips with a Throttlemeister on a '08 FJR1300A model. The HG throttle grip looks too small to fit over the friction sleeve in the TM kit.

go to throttlemeister home page and click on FAQ they do not recommend Hot Grips/Throttlemeister call Fred at Throttlemeister if any questions as he helped me with questions about installing it with Yamaha Factory OEM heated grips

I saw their advice. I also had seen a few posts from others who have installed the combination. It looks like the inside of the grip will have to grinded down, or the friction tube on the TM grinded to make them work. I was looking for someone who may have done the install.
