My #1 priority in choosing a helmet is one that is most likely to absorb impact and save my brain from injury in case of a get-off. I like to support American-made products wherever possible, but not when I have to risk personal injury to do so. Have you read this?

I just made that mistake, and ordered the Z1R Venom for $119.95 plus local tax. Who started this damned thread? This just cost me money, but I'll soon be sporting the world's softest helmet and, at that price, can easily replace it often....
