Panman and I left Colville this morning. Took the twisty route and ended up in Kalispell tonight. Road to Yaak is worth exploring and MT567 back to Libby is a good run too. Enjoy, but don't get lost too badly!! See you Thursday in Baker City. ~G

Aluminum Grab bars Gen 2 (2010)

I've been using Givi top cases along with the SR357 replacement rack for years. Most recent is a V47 case used for trips with my SO. I always load the top case with lightweight bulky items such as electric (or regular) liners, daily need items and finally a water bottle. Be smart, don't...

Aluminum Grab bars Gen 2 (2010)

Yes, confirmed the OE upgrade aluminum rack will fit '06 to '15. Rear subframe, seats and tails are the same. It will not fit when using a Corbin Smuggler in place of rear seat. IIRC the Smuggler needs modifications to properly latch. ~G

    First FJR

Welcome from metro Seattle and congrats on the new (to you) '15! For your adds; couple options for highway pegs, either crash bar or engine case mounted. Be aware, engine case mounted will drag in right conditions and aggressive cornering. Passenger pegs can be DIY modified into platform style...

    R1250RT to the FJR

Can't go wrong with a new FJR. Reliable as an anvil and certainly less maintenance and fewer dealer trips verses the beemer. If you have the itch, scratch it, you won't be disappointed! Good luck! ~G

    Drone in Follow-Me-Mode

Not personally, ran into a father/son who were riding to AK in 2019. They did have (and shared) some very nice video of them on Top of the World outside Dawson City. I recall them saying it was at lower speeds but seemed to work well. I imagine the tech has progressed too in the last four...

New FJR rider as of today

Yikes, that's some nasty looking fluid. Hope you have a rear brake now. Also, make sure you exercise the ABS system to move fluid. Either a jumper, or find a dirt road to check both ends. Start with the rear and obviously, be careful until you confirm ABS operation. Flush both systems again...

Drive train "crashing" when engaged on a cold engine

As Bounce says, wait for the high idle to settle out. Only takes a minute or so, just enough time to finish the helmet and pull on gloves. I generally wait until I see temp indication in gauges too. Don't baby shifting into first, a good swift push is better then ratcheting it in. ~G

2022 6k miles stalls then runs rough, abs light flashing

This ^^^^ Redlands, as in Redlands CA? If purchased new in CA, you have a Cali emissions equipped machine. To confirm look at bottom front of fairing and you'll see a hose sticking down. Known issue. Don't overfill the tank as this adds to the problem and if needed, let things smooth out...
