I believe that the only colormatched lids available in Cobalt blue are for the the V46 topcase.

I owned an '01 Bandit 1200S. Other than it not wanting to start if the temps dropped below about 45F, it was a great bike. Lots of torque just about everywhere but buzzy in the upper rpms. Overall, it was a screaming bargain in terms of power, brakes and handling for the price.

Is there any tint on this new Yamaha screen?

One of the great things about the linked braking on the '06-'07 is that it is only activated by heavy pressure on the pedal. Light pressure on the pedal doesn't activate linking with the front. This feature facilitates the use of trail braking with the rear brake alone. I find my '06 brakes...

I wish they offered the V Stream with a tint. Is this something they offer later (after the intro for a new model) or is it unlikely they'll ever offer a tint for the '06-7?

I think I noticed that today. When I drag the front brake, I don't hear the "bucket of bolts" noise from the front end.

Did you have to remove the top triple clamp?
