If the straps go across any painted panels or even metal, they will rub until the finish comes off or is in the very least slightly dulled.

So....... Jim (aka ZOOOM AGAIN) and I are in the preliminary planning stages of our trip out west this Spring (2015). We are thinking of trailering from Albany, NY to San Diego, CA (or somewhere close to that). We would arrive sometime around May 25th and then ride up to the SWFOG. After that...

Jim and I are also planning a ride West this May/June. We were also thinking Grand Canyon, southern CA, and maybe parts of Nevada. Not sure about riding our bikes through Vegas. We haven't quite planned a loop yet. I also didn't realize that it would be that hot in May already. I thought July...

It looks like taking the oil filter off will require the removal of the foot guard on the left.
