Your rack will need the $20 kit to put the trunk on. It just consists of a few pieces and rubber bumpers for some of the holes to hold the trunk and allow it to latch at the back of the plate.

I posted in the other thread, my 780 Nuvi will do everything you want. You can buy used or refurbished I think still. Good unit, just not waterproof.

I didn't like satellite radio due to losing signal all the time riding the areas I prefer to ride such as mtns, country roads, etc... That was aggravating, I still have the little roady 2, just ran across it the other day! I use J&M electronics,; it does not get any better and you can hear...

Yes, I have had them cut their 15" one for the Gen 2 down shorter than that before shipping the first time. They do by order I think for the shorter shields anyway as they don't get ordered as often.

Run the smuggler for a few trips and you won't take it off unless someone will be sitting back there! You will love how handy they are. Buy a front and send to Russell, all good then!

You will love it! I sure have. I bought the shortest I could find which was a Cee Bailey 13" for my last '07. Good, smooth air at your head. No buffeting from a shield hitting you at eye level!

I also get sick of reading these comparison articles with bikes that have price tags of over 10K apart... Makes no sense to me, if you can't buy a better or at least better equipped bike for that kind of money there is a problem!

Someone will be very happy with these, yours look good and I know they sound great! I have been running black ones for a few months now and love them. They have the best sound of any I have tried!
