My 3D printed helmet lock solution

Nice job! Good fab. project. Or you can buy one of these for $20 on Amazon and simply clip it to your grab rails with zero fabrication as a second option.

    A man and his mule

A man and his mule - by G.R. A man was riding his mule down a country road into town and passerby’s looked at the man and stated “That poor mule! It’s back must be hurting with him riding it. This is animal abuse! How could anyone be so cruel”. Upon hearing this the man got off the mule and...

Motorcyclist Review of 2014 Electronic Suspension

I finally got this magazine yesterday and read the article. Here is my take: 1. They made mention of their 2013 "project bike" with Traxxion Dynamic suspension upgrade (same as I've done to my 05) and compared it to the 2014 ES. A couple of things, the ES is a $1000 upgrade and just the rear...

    Reflecting Back and Looking Forward

Ahhhh...good ole stereotypes. Whats not to love? LOL! I was born / raised in Michigan, but my father is from Bessemer, AL and my Grandmother is from Sparta, TN so I'm a mixed breed. All I know from living both in the north & in the south is that living in the north during the winter is for...

    Gear shift rubber

Just replaced mine. It's like a $3 part. Just use a razor and cut your old one off. Spray the inside of the new one with hairspray and slide it on. Yamaha Part# 5EB-18113-00-00 I'll leave the inane comments for the usual peanut gallery.

2014 ES versus a good aftermarket suspension?

Where do they say that? If so, what is the estimated cost of rebuild? ----------------------------------------- My guess is once you have push button electronic suspension at your fingertips (most people) will be more apt to use it. Especially if your a "jack of all trades" rider and you ride...

    Best Radiator Guards

I installed my Cox Rad guard the other day. It fits nicely and looks good. From others (like mentioned above) I've never heard anything bad about them. Just FYI...unless I did something wrong...when I installed the guard I ended up having to completely remove the entire front cowling only...

The vast differences in Sport Touring Riders (Poll)

Thank you Geezer! That's what I was hoping would be appreciated here! I think sometimes folks can get into their own little world, with their own entrenched perspectives and just converse with others that only mirror themselves and think everyone else outside their click is...well...stupid...

The vast differences in Sport Touring Riders (Poll)

Jack of all Trades ---------------------------------------- What I personally like about the Sport Tourer is the versatility of it. It's basically three bikes in one.

The vast differences in Sport Touring Riders (Poll)

I just thought it would be interesting to see how different we all might be, even though we all love the FJR for our own personal reasons.
