    An American Junkyard

Different kind of RR for me today. No pictures of mountains, lakes, streams or waterfalls. I took my own advice for searching out new & interesting POI in my local riding territory and took work off today and headed out on the Feej to Cartersville, GA and stopped at "Old Car USA" which bills...

Too Fast! TOO FAST! TOOO FAAAST!

Yep...been there, done that as well my friend. My "Practice wife" had the same issue. lol. Had to throw her into the scrap heap and make a major upgrade to the "Real wife". Mucho mo' betta now.

Need Gen 1 rear shock and guts for forks

I'm just south of ATL and have a OEM 05 stock shock setup available and I think I have the front fork springs as well.

Too Fast! TOO FAST! TOOO FAAAST!

Dang! Man I tell you what...if you find a little lady that you click with on a personal level and then you find out she not only likes to ride as much as you do but also as fast as you do...go get yourself a ring & get down on one knee! This shot of me & my wife a.k.a "StreetBetty" pretty much...

    A new Valkyrie

Ahhhhhh....so Dad's the smart one eh?! Sheesh, kids these days. They just never learn!!!

Too Fast! TOO FAST! TOOO FAAAST!

For sure. Riding 2up is completely different. The ole helmet smacking from gear upshifting makes you shift much more deliberate & smoother than if your rip roaring by yourself. Ha...that's true! But if that's the case you have much bigger issues at home to tackle. lol With the new front fork...

    A new Valkyrie

We all do. That's why the Yamaha FJR is always the highest rated ST bike out there for the money and the damn things just run & run & run. Which I've always wondered...how did Honda ST rider ever make a home here on a FJR site?

Too Fast! TOO FAST! TOOO FAAAST!

We ride the same roads. I love Dupont State forest & always take East Fork rd when I'm over that way. Yeah sounds like it was a bit much for your wife. You prob should have eased her into it more than you did. Riding is not for everyone and riding fast in the mtn twisties is not for everyone or...

    Rough Summer

4yrs ago I was riding my bike out front & watched my wife riding her HD StreetBob hit a huge pothole depression in the pavement in my rear view mirror going 50-60mph and then watched in horror as her bike violently flipped end over end & tossed her off & into the ditch. I remember yelling out to...

    A new Valkyrie

The Honda bagger (minus its price tag & no cruise control fail) to me is more for "younger" riders that want a more powerful & sophisticated bagger but still have the HP, Torque and more modern Tech than your traditional HD V-twin baggers. The F6B has a much more modern look & appeal which I...

    A new Valkyrie

100% disagree. I like the looks of the F6B. 1800cc 6cyl bagger is great. Trusted / Proven Goldwing chassis & engine. The only downside for purchasing the F6B is (2) things: Price - $20k No cruise control ?????? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder however. On looks & ergo's I really liked...

My Impressions of the MV Motorrad Bar Riser

Correct. That is my only point.

My Impressions of the MV Motorrad Bar Riser

OK...I don't want to sound like a negative nancy or anything...but I sat on a fellow forum members bike this weekend that has this Motorrad plate installed. He said he had the bars back as far as it could go & also slightly angled back. I sat on his & then back to my stock bar setup and to be...

    Escalation pull back

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for viewing. So that's the reason why I've seen you post many times with your wife holding up a numbered placard in front of various POI? Never really heard or seen anything about tag-o-rama's before. But really any excuse to ride, visit new spots and find little...

    Oldest Rider You Know

Yeah kind of. I honestly had no idea he ever wanted to ride growing up, he never said a word about it. But then again he's from that older generation of silent male fathers that never really said anything about anything. lol I'm glad he stays active and is enjoying it. He's also an avid...
