    Traxxion Suspension Upgrade...what I learned.

A suspension expert...I am not. I've owned several motorcycles & ridden for many years but I've never messed with front fork suspension before. I've upgraded a rear shock once but that's about it. I learned about Traxxion Dynamics a few years ago and heard good reviews from others on this forum...

    I miss my FJR

I don't get the wife is comfy on a HD and not a FJR either? My wife says the FJR is way more comfy than my last V-twin cruiser. She said the body position on the FJR is much better and easier on her knee's after a long day ride. If you had a stock seat for her then I could maybe see her...

    Kiss Off Summer Ride Report

I completely understand. I don't ride as much as you but life is a lot more than just constantly motorcycling that's for sure. Me & my wife have done more hiking, paddling, SUPing, nature photography, waterfall hunting & running (2) 5k races this Spring/Summer. Variety is the spice of life...I...

    Riding...A family affair?

That's cool! The little lady might be the rider of the bunch. Its pretty cool to bring a kid along that truly enjoys it. You can have some nice conversations with your kids at the stops that normal everyday life doesn't normally allow for. Yeah please do. Feel free to post any family riding...

    2013 RubenRun

So beautiful out there. The combination of the Pacific coastline and the interior mountains is awesome. Love the brilliant bright blue skies...but I can't believe it snowed!!! Amazing what some good elevation change will do. Looks like a wonderful trip so far for sure.

    FJR Cruise throttle lock

Well yes/no. They start out working well, but over time (like a year or less) they weaken and it wont hold the throttle in place anymore, it slips and since there is no way to tighten the tension it becomes useless. Threw my last one away.

    Blue Ridge Parkway bypass-15mph

General Parkway Speed is 45mph. Some sections like around Blowing Rock, NC are posted at 35mph. The temp bypass around Mt. Mitchell @ milepost 374 is 15mph.

    Deconstructing a Redneck Squid...

So I'm coming home from work the other day when a fellow taxpayer pulls up next to me. I do a quick take...then a more rapid double take ensues in his direction...concurrently I find myself mindlessly reaching for my cell phone with my right hand and snapping a quick photo whilst not being able...

Into The Unknown - An Anti-Ride Report.

10-4 Fall is by far my most favorite time of year. I've been looking at some blogs for the High Sierra's...absolutely epic. Looks like you guys get some foliage color the end of Sept in the high elevations. I'll be ready to see your shots of the beautiful west that you call home.

Into The Unknown - An Anti-Ride Report.

Just a thought. But in low light a suggestion would be to increase your camera exposure setting up to allow more light to enter. Sometimes just a 1/3 or 1/2 of a stop can make a big difference. Also having a tri-pod (not sure if you use one or not) is really key so you can do longer exposures...

    Riding...A family affair?

That's cool! That should be a blast for you guys!!! Thank Mihalis! As I get older I certainly know that to be a true statement. Seems like just yesterday my oldest was going to his first day of Kindergarten...now a Sophomore in HS we're talking about college...crazy how fast they grow!!! Well...

    Riding...A family affair?

It struck me this morning after me, my wife and my 11yr old son took off early on a ride together for breakfast and some country 2-lane riding that I really don't ever see many RR that include kids / grandkids? I've seen a few but 98% of them don't have pictures of kids riding. With the amount...

Into The Unknown - An Anti-Ride Report.

TFS!...Nicely done! Jenny Lake and hiking up into the Tetons and visiting the remote alpine lakes in the higher elevations is on my short list of things to do. I hoping to take my son to do just that next summer for his 16th birthday.

Two Wheels of Suches is Open

That's what I'm hoping. Dan has been great so far. I got a Penske rear shock on order and just going to have them rebuild my front forks with stiffer springs along with new seals & fork oil of course. I'm close to 30,000 miles on the OEM parts and I'm hoping this is money well spent for many...

    A Landscape Lover's Ride

Thank you sir. "Preciate" it Yeah I feel the same way. Personally I love all the out West RR's. Thank you. Indeed. Oh yeah? Nice! That's cool. I love any "new" roads I can find. I think I've ridden about every paved 2-lane road in N. GA at this point however. lol

    A Landscape Lover's Ride

Me and my wife got away this weekend to the mtns as well but this time it was for our anniversary. We kayaked down the Toccoa river on Saturday and hiked some on Sunday and just rode around in between.

Two Wheels of Suches is Open

Good little spot right on Hwy 60 & Wolf Pen Gap. I'm supposed to have Traxxion upgrade my front & rear suspension later this month.

Two Wheels of Suches is Open

After being closed for several years Two Wheels of Suches Georgia motorcycle campground & Lodge is back open. Rode by there today and saw it full of motorcycles along with a big "We're Open" sign out front. Nice to see them back in business.

    Techspec tank grips

Got them yesterday and installed it last night. A bit pricey to me but a really nice product. Man does it ever grab your pants and hold you in position though when you squeeze the tank! I could tell that just testing it in the shop. Should be a practical product to have when leaning off the bike...
