I rode in cold weather with one “in” and one “out”. The knee on the “out” side got a lot of cold air. The knee in the “in” side only felt about 1/2 as much of the cold air.

Hello, if you don’t mind a little extra work. Sell the bike without all the unattached extras for a lower price and sell all the accessories separately! The price is what attracts your buyer. Then you can offer the stuff to the buyer or to other Fjr owners. Best of luck

No expert here But you changed the dogbone length by 16 mm x 2 (2:1) = 32mm which is approx . 1.33 inches.
