It's the threaded end of the bolt that is tapped. The large bolt goes up through the triple clamp with the nut on the top of the bar. You can see the hole in the picture.
Not sure about Motorcycle Larry's - I bought mine used and don't know the brand.
But I believe you will find the end of the larger bolt to be drilled and tapped for the small cover mounting screws.

P.S. GenMar instructions here...
Saw this listed here - don't know if it's still available:

I have two Nuvis that both work fine. The reason I bought the newer 1350 is because it has lifetime map updates whereas for the old 265W Garmin wanted $99 to upgrade. The 1350 cost less than that. Just would suggest you get one with free map updates.

I don't know the area but this may give you some ideas.

Not likely that there are many lying around, but just in case ---
Anyone have a Fuzeblocks FZ-1 they want to get rid of??
And, yes, I know that Real Time Industries gives a FJRForum discount.
Thanks -Glen

I haven't been to any MotoGP but have been to several AMA/MotoAmerica races. You may want to consider the MotoAmerica race at Virginia International Raceway in May. Being in Virginia it is easy for me to get there. And it's a fun track - you can camp inside the track loop, have any number of...
Don't know if it is "the best" but worth a stop if you are in central Virginia (and not too far from Skyline Drive)

Edit - just saw it was on the Thrillist from the initial post. Still a good spot.
Well, I'm withdrawing this request. With many recommendation, I have decided to go with FZ-1 mirrors. Therefore will not need the stock mirror.
If I like the FZ-1 mirrors, I may decide to list the left side stock mirror for sale.
Thanks -Glen
Thanks for all the responses. Looks like I should just go with the FZ-1 mirrors and enjoy the improvement over stock. And thanks, chazglenn3, for the Stadium Yamaha pricing.

Since I broke a mirror, considering the FZ1 switch.
Are all FZ1 mirrors black? (That would be good since my 2009 is black)
Where is a good place to purchase OEM FZ1 mirrors?
Thanks. -Glen
