Looks like the FJR is not quite ready to take on 4 wheels just yet...I knew it was an FJR by the sound before I even looked at the gauges... https://www.liveleak.com/view?i=609_1476656161

    K1600b

The Wing motor is a pretty solid well sorted item...I know the engines on the Broken Motor Works K1600 platform have been less than stellar...at least the early units...hopefully they have things sorted by now. I do agree, this is bike in search of a market...and BMW may have just found a niche...

Well, you only get one picture...so here goes...saddlebags full of Honeycrisp apples and apple cider...we had to stop by Lake Pepin on the way home. Triple clamp crooked after fork rebuild

I am assuming it points a tad left or right when you are describing "askew." Did you remove the upper and lower triple clamps? If so, loosen the top clamp bolts and have someone hold the front wheel and you give the bars a little push to the side you want to correct to and retighten. If that's...

MN/WI Saturday Sept 3rd Letter Road Riding Anyone?

Jack and I pulled off for gas at Buffalo City. We ran the little FJ-09 down as far as we dared...we put 4.45 gallons into a 4.6 gallon tank...not quite fumes but we were close. From Buffalo City to home I let young Jack explore the capabilities of the FJR...he seems to think that those of us on...

MN/WI Saturday Sept 3rd Letter Road Riding Anyone?

Those wanting to ride can meet up at the Freedom Value Center gas station in Prescott at 7:30ish. We can adjust our route based on the SwollenRaccoon's road report. I will build a couple of different routes into my GPS. Looks like the reported damage is mostly on the southern portion of the route.
