I think I'm in love. With the Tracer, not any of you guys.

    2019 Yamaha Tracer 900 GT

Good call Bob! I'm perfectly comfortable on my FJR AE. The new Tracer at 150 lbs less would fit the bill for anyone looking for a little lighter bike. Plenty of power and loaded with outstanding accessories.

    Motorcycle cover

I cut a big U-shape around the seat area of my bike cover. I can fold the flap under and ride the bike with the cover on. Since I never take the cover off, I can't confirm if there are any scratches on the paint. Road visibility at night is poor. May have to cut holes for the headlights.

Garmin Map Updating - Does it suck or is it me?

Is there a possibility that there's some type of paved roads setting on the GPS or in Base Camp that is causing the dirt trails to come up in your route?

    FJR Naked Street project

Really cool. I'll be interested to see the finished project. I just saw the FJR Reverse Trike for the first time on YouTube. Don't know how I missed that one. Looks like a lot of fun!

What did you do to your FJR today?

Trevor and I have been getting 50 to 70 mile rides in every evening. Even beat the rain home this evening. Well, Trevor was with me, so no way we were going to get wet. :) He's like having an umbrella up at all times.

    Rear brake lever excessive travel

Well that should be convenient for me since it's in another country and across an ocean. :)

    Rear brake lever excessive travel

Rear brake pedal pivot was cleaned and lubed with lithium grease. Brake pedal down and up is smooth and free as can be. I've been experiencing a mushy brake pedal for some time due to some air in the brake line. Bled the front lower bleed port and then the rear. Hung a 25 lb dumbbell on the...

    NERDS 2018

Art, You did a great job with the Adacks ride. I look forward to going there again soon. I like the "Everyone do their own thing" events with some routes chosen for people who don't know the area. The guided groups you put together for the ride through the Cats and Dacks was great also. I...

What did you do to your FJR today?

Took my rear brake pivot apart. Cleaned it up real good with WD40 and then lubed it with lithium grease. When pushing the brake pedal, it sounded like there was sand on the pivot. So nice and smooth after the clean and lube. Yay me! :)
