My last 2 long distance trips, 1 8000 miles and the other 6000 miles, I carried 20-30 lbs in each bag with no issues.

In my experience with a lot of tires and well over 100+k mile, once they hit the wear bars you need to be changing them in about 500 miles.

I did mine a few months ago and didnt have any issues with my carbtune fitting either.

I ended up with over 12k on my rear and changed it for a long trip but it still had a few thousand left. I went ahead and changed the front at around 10-11k due to cupping. I changed them with roadsmart 2s and at 6k miles the rear center tread is so rounded its affecting handling. Plenty of...

Ive had good luck with avon storm xm and have a set of roadsmart 2s in storage for my next trip in a few weeks. My rear ovon is at aout 12k miles with plenty left.

I had to do a soak on my 2014 after about 5k miles. It was improved for a few thousand then went back to rough shifting. After around 18k miles she started shifting smooth. I dont know if it took that long to break in or what but im finally happy with the shifting.

As of now I have a rack installed on my givi case to strap the tent too. Im going to strap a sleeping back to the 357 and let them ride on the saddlebags. The rest of the gear will go into the top case while I get 1 saddlebag for clothes and she gets the other. Should be interesting.
