What is this lean surge you speak of? My 2009 has always been smooth as can be. I've never even for a moment considered any aftermarket fueling system.

I actually find that the music has more bass when listening with foam earplugs in. Without earplugs, it's very tinny and harsh at any decent volume.

Great find! I had to replace one on my front caliper last season. It came in closer to $46 CAD. I had good luck with a Snap On extractor that I borrowed from a friend. Just had to tap it in securely and turn.

I have found this as well. I have noticed that the cruise will not de-activate until I add some rear brake to the equation unless I'm hard on the front brakes.

Just looked up Collett recently and it looks like they've resurfaced. A while back, their web page indicated that there were problems. Shortly after, the site had everything marked as out of stock and now it appears they are back to normal (whatever normal is). It might be worth a call to them...
