I just did the TBS and thought that I might want to put 6 inch hoses over the nipples and leave them there. I did this with my VSTrom I had because it was such a pain to get to the nipples when doing a TBS. I put the caps on the end of the hose and tied them down until I did the TBS again...

I use Royal Purple gear oil in the shaft drive case. I use the 75w90 weight. The 75w140 weight is used in heavy truck rear-ends.

I have an 08 and it does the same thing. Waiting to get a few more miles on it to sync the TBs and hopefully it will smooth things out a little.

Got a new '08 FJR and it seems to be a little vibee at around 4k RPM. It has 150 mile on the clock. Is this a trait of the bike, or does it smooth out some as the miles add up, or do I maybe need to sync the TB's? Thanks. Mark
