What weight ams oil gear oil do you use in your fjr. I am trying to get away from the high priced yamaha stuff and get something better?

my switch failed on Aug. 6 it is now Aug 21st and the dealer just told me that it was the switch on the 20th. my fjr is a 2007 It has 13500 miles on it failed at home when i cut the bike off to open the garage door got back on and nothing!! The dealer was called the day it happened Aug.6th ...

I own a fjr I had wonted a Concours 14 bad but got the fjr. I still wont to know how they stack up? Some one must have a frend they ride with that has a Concours 14. Did I chose the right one????!!!

I am intrested in how my Fjr would stack up aganst a concours14 POWER, SPEED, M.P.G. I had looked at both these bikes chose the fjr but still wonder??? I know some one rides with someone who has one. If you could please let me know?

:glare: Can any one tell me how the replacment of the ecu (recall on the 2007 fjr) has changed the mpg if any?? I myself get about 50 mpg and don't wont this to change!!

I would like to know if you saw where it helped with the easy roll on of the throttle i have a hard time with this on my 2007 as well as the high elevation thing. i am 52 years old and have been riding all my life so its not a lack of experience.
