How I carry H2W bags on my FJR. I use D-ring straps now and have used Rockstraps in the past, both work. This bag is not full nor tighten down.

It was around or below 40 MPH. Temps were approaching 90. I would say it is about the same as on my 1150 GSA. L

Just got back from a 2 up 3000 mile(+500 for breakin) round trip to Torrey UT (if ya have not been....GO!)....some observations Again...YMMV I replaced the stock windscreen with the Yammie Touring...my passenger(wifey/Mrs Whip) did not like the buffeting. I had the seat in the high position...

Will the Soupy's raise the rear end or just lower it? Will they work on Gen III bikes? L

I sent an email to Soupys (the FJR link is dead) they told me the link would work great for lowering the bike. Will they raise the bike as well? L

Has anyone ever tried raising the rear end of your FJR with https://www.whaccessories.com/Tail-Lift-Kits-Yamaha.htm to speed up the turn in?? It seems like it could be an interesting mod? Would changing the shaft angle add any stress to the FD? (I have been on BMWs for a long time :) ) 25mm...

I added several clicks to both the bottom of the right side fork and the bottom of the rear shock. Major improvement. More testing tomorrow.

Background check. I pre-ordered a 2003 FJR site unseen. Rode it about 50,000 miles. Heat was my only issue. I often pored water on my lap during stops. Traded it for a Kawa Mule.I needed it ) I bought a Road Glide and a 1200RT. After holding up cars on Poudre Canyon in a rain storm on the HD...

Anyone know when they will arrive at the dealers? The Yammie sight says it is available "now"? My dealer has been calling whatever number he has and doesn't seem to be getting an answer?

I just put a deposit down on the first 2013 FJR that shows up at Alamo Cycle Plex. I have about 100,000 miles on the first two and can't remember why I sold either one. :yahoo:
