I'm looking for something for my son who is 8 and wants to ride more. I'm wondering if anyone has found any mesh gear in youth sizes? I have found some textile with no or very little venting, but really want mesh so he's not so hot. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's an 09 (black wheels). I asked them about it a couple years ago before my brother found his. They wanted retail for it and wouldn't budge. That was the old owner though. He had lots of old, new stuff. Last I knew they still Had a new 03 or 04 aprillia.

I'm looking to get some new boots for riding. Was looking at the Alpine Stars Sierra Gortex boots. Wondered if anyone has tried them and if so what do you think of them?

You guys speak pretty highly of these helmets. Are they better than my shoei x-eleven or Arai signet Q? These are the nicest quietest helmets I've ever had.

The only gas along this route is winner, white river, and maybe interior? Not a big deal as far as the FJR goes on a tank of gas just need to plan accordingly.
