Ditto. I came from 3 different models of Gold Wings. GL1100, GL1200, and GL1500. The FJR was a featherweight at about 300# lighter.

You can get nearly all the benefits of a pellet smoker with a controlled blower to manage air flow in a wood smoker. Feeding it during the smoke being the big missing piece.

I overdid the smoke on my tenderloins this last time. Didn't have apple, so used mesquite. It burns hotter and is a stronger flavor. The medalions are fine but MAN is there a lot of smoke. Still, stab-em-with-a-fork porkcicles (warmed not cold) are mighty tasty without extras.

I did a blue cheese stuffed on once and didn't realize how many people don't like blue cheese. :D This may be the version they'll all like.

Sadly, few seem motivated to get fixer uppers. My '03 just went to a good home and I got some bit of compensation above scrap for it all. But the new owner is a great guy, got a heap of riding gear and accessories (with the '03 needing the plastic reinstalled after paint tossed in for free). But...

I don't think so. I suspect it's the first test assembly. We've talked a little about it. Full flush of everything, and new battery come first. I do see a car battery on the trailer, so maybe he fired up the ignition to see the ODO, etc. He's asked about the cam chain tensioner. I have never...

He sent some early pics of the rebuild. Looking closely, I can see he's using the color-matched Pro-Bolts for the fairings (thanks for the heads-up on these, @Warchild ).

He came by yesterday and left with a whole bunch of stuff (including a NIB set of Krista lights, a Russell Day-Long, and a full set of Widder type 2 vest, arm chaps, gloves, controller, and leg chaps). It left a big hole in my tiny garage but bikes need to be ridden and it's going to a good home.

Yeah. I think the Apple-sphere calls it fall detection and it's marketed for seniors. Go searching along those lines for instructions on how to enable and set it up.
