My initial first glance said Goldwing before I started examining it.

Normal rider doesn't have a rally towel to put in the picture.

I agree, yet some left Little Rock on I-30 and then cut across 82, which is slow when you pass through Paris and a few other towns.

I question why they are headed down 30 and cutting across 82? They aren't going to Austin that way. They could've just stayed on 40 and picked up Texas passing through the Pan-handle. I'm going to go with they are tired and thinking they have to touch that NE corner to score TX. Now that I...

    I found Wingy, what's the prize? :P

Got to believe those three are victims of Spot failure. They haven't shown movement for over a hour.

2011 IBR - The Inside View

Probably not too bad, allowing for Spot lag. 15-30 minutes late if the WX doesn't hurt too bad.

How about a Spot update on Frens? Purdy Please?

2011 IBR - The Inside View

From what I can piece together, there were 19 capitals available on leg one. The Sperrys also missed ND and PA. If you only get credit for the capitals on the legs that they are offered, then no one is in the running for a 48-state capital bonus. Re-reading this ...

Thanks. He coordinated the Memphis SS1000 earlier this month.

BTW, I didn't see Howard Entman on the call in list. Is he still running?

2011 IBR - The Inside View

From Austin's update, they didn't get Key West on leg 2 and that same update is where it seems that the capitals are going to offset the Leg 3 4-corners plan. Seems there is going to be a big surprise when they open that last pack. :o

If I'm reading between the lines correctly, 4-corners isn't going to work for anyone that tries for KW on leg three. The capital bonii must increase exponentially tomorrow.

2011 IBR - The Inside View

Dammit! Did that to myself. OK, so the shortest route to get Blaine, Madawaska and back to Cheektowaga is 4163, but that skips a lot of states and goes from Detroit through Canada. But, now I don't even have to look at the riders who rode less than 4163. That eliminates a few anyway. More...

So, doing the same exercise for other riders, did any of them get enough miles to snag corner two based on their collected bonii?

872 just turned on their Spot. In Cheektowaga, at the checkpoint. :) Dang Warchild beat me to the post.

184 is going into DTW rush hour, or Toledo's if he heads back south.

2011 IBR - The Inside View

184 passed I-90, so definitely going for MI. 3:15 until the checkpoint opens and 5:15 until he is time barred. I will be shocked if he makes it.

Probably not a bad bet since they got so far east, so early. Good use of time since yesterday. Still should get plenty of rest before tomorrow's start.
