Fred, I'm currently on my first set of PP / PR2 but they seem to be wearing the same. I get about 8-10k with the PR2 rear and am currently @ 4500.

I love the PR2s F&R but a friend told me to try a Pilot Power on the front and I love it more. Great grip and is less noisy that the PR2 front.

Rotella T6 synth 5w-40 and change it every 5-6k miles.

I use the Pilot Road 2. I got 11K on my last pair. The front tire I changed to Pilot Power and it seems less noisy than the PR2 fronts.

I have the Sidi Way Rain boots and love how they feel. These are my only pair so they get real hot in 90+ temperatures. I took a spill with them and my right boot turned into a frame slider as I slid about 20ft. No broken bones or bruises on me. I'm planing on getting another set of Sidi...

I use a V-strem and love it. I never had a CB or a CalSci but a V-Steam is worth the look. I keep mine up just a bit (about where my nose is) get no turbulence or back pressure.
