what part of the US you live in? Probably a member here somewhere close to ya. I traded in my VTX1800C for the fjr, never looked back. I was able to test ride either of the two they had sitting there. I rode the non abs & bought the abs.

I do not have a ticker, but, I do remember posts about this. You have to say the magic words, "excessive exhaust valve guide wear" not "the tick" You have top-end noise that correlates with excessive valve guide wear.

I'm using 7.5 FUCHS Silkolene Pro RSF. Some other to consider might be: HondaPro, Bel Ray, Maxima, Golden Spectro, PJ1, Redline just to name a few.

Do you have any devise hooked up to your brake light, ie: Back Off Wig Wag, etc.? My CCS-100 was ready to go & would not work until I removed the WigWag & went back to stock brake lights. CCS-100 worked great after that.

I've been using a Bel RX65 With The H.A.R.D. System, works great. Did the transmitter get wet? That will cause failure & or problems. Might just need the two CR2032 batteries changed out in the receiver.

Yep, what "twowheelnut" said. No"3A horn fuse", It's combined with other signals and is part of the 15A signaling system fuse. Run those horns off a relay and power them from a fused connection to the battery to prevent overloading your existing wiring.
