New Helmet Time - let the research commence

I've had Shoeis in the past, but they gave me a headache after about two hours. I switched over to Suomy. For me and my dome, these are best.

Greetings from an aspiring FJR owner from Boise, ID

I have a degenerative nueromusclar disease called CMT. It's difficult for me to shift the bike, with my foot, obviously :). I can't lift my foot well, much less bend it in an upward movement to shift the gears. I have a TL1000E, and it's almost impossible to ride that bike. Sorry, I digress...

Greetings from an aspiring FJR owner from Boise, ID

Funny this comes up. I've actually been toying with the thought of selling my '05 FJR, and I'm out in Ada County.

    Plug wire/connector separation...

I got it all squared away. Thank you.

    Plug wire/connector separation...

Thank you. So I did strip back about 1/4". The strands of wire are silver colored. Do I just leave them extended straight out from the insulation, or bend the strands back over onto the insulation and then twist the boot onto the wire?

    Plug wire/connector separation...

Reviving a thread. This just happened to me as well. Maybe I'm a little dense, but can someone please explain exactly what to do? I understand trim back some of the insulation around the actual plug wire, but then what do you do with the exposed wire and the boot it separated from? Thank you.

    Thank you both.

    Saddlebags

I have an '05 and am curious if all generations of saddlebags are the same, meaning will a '22 model fit on my bike? Also, using the '22 example, what was the official color for the '22 model? Thank you.

Would you pay the Dealer or Replace ABS brake lines Yourself?

I purchased them when there was a group buy on them, way back when. Yes, I think they are worth it, group buy or not.

Would you pay the Dealer or Replace ABS brake lines Yourself?

I have an '05. I replaced all my lines with the same kit you seem to have. I did mine years ago. It's a simple R/R job. Bleeding the system required no special tools. As someone else said, just do one line at a time and you'll be fine.

    On this day...

Completely agreed Mike. too bad it took something like that to get everyone to come together. I wish we were more unified as a nation, without having something like this happening again.

    On this day...

We would proudly wear these, actually the entire month of September, in honor of all those who were killed on this day 22 years ago......
