    Dave Higgins / Highlander

What a punch in the gut. Dave and Diane were the first people I met at an FJR Rally. I was always glad to see their smiling faces. All my love to Diane and family.

    Sad News

I'm so sorry, Ray. Written words feel so inadequate, but I hope the 38 years worth of memories will provide you with some comfort. You are in our thoughts. John

    The Cleanse

Very nice Mr.Pants! And great assist Mr. C! I was wondering if you have been to Petit Jean State Park? I grew up in Memphis and always loved that area. We used to camp around Heber Springs and Greers Ferry.

    Bike keyed at work!

As I was going to sleep last night, I realized that this was self inflicted. At my favorite restaurant, I park by a window with a stucco-like wall below it. When I left, a car had partially blocked me in and I had to back up to get out. I must have rubbed the bag against the wall without...

Man, your unnamed coworker gets around! Went to wash bike today and found this: I have no clue how this happened; it wasn't there yesterday.

    Gen.1 Rick Mayer Seat ***SOLD***

Thanks for the assist. I probably knew that 14 years ago. It's kind of funny, the first 5 or 6 years I could rattle off almost every fact from FJR land. the other day someone asked me how heavy the FJR was and how quick in the 1/4 mile it was, and I couldn't remember.

    Gen.1 Rick Mayer Seat ***SOLD***

***SOLD*** Rick Mayer vinyl covered seat from my dear departed '03. Excellent condition. I bought it used and do not remember what size person it was built for. I'm 6' 175 lbs. and it worked great for me. It doubled my allowed seat time compared to the stock seat. $250 + shipping to lower 48.

ACM rolls out Master Collector exhibit of more than 100 Honda motorcycles

That would be just about perfect timing. I bought my first bike then; a new 1972 Honda CB350 for $819. I was the happiest 16 year old in the world.

A Moment That Gives You Pause

One of my former bosses had his young, maybe 12 or 13 year-old, nephew visiting. The nephew asked if he could do something to help, and my bosses GF told him to get some soap from under the sink and wash her new Jeep. He did a great job washing the new Jeep with floor stripper. New paint job...

    Wilbers Shock Lower Bolt

Some of you old-timers may remember the Wilbers Group Buy in 2005. I bought and installed a Wilbers 640 rear shock on my 2003 FJR. After throwing the 2003 in a ditch, I removed the Wilbers and kept it. I was installing it on my 2014 and realized that the Wilbers came with a different lower...

2018 Nakusp and BlackHills Roundup RR

Simply epic ride and report Mr. Carver. I'm now an hour late for bed, and I still have more to look at. I sincerely thank you for the effort you put into this. Happy Trails!

CFR 2018 - WooHoo! Registration is going LIVE November 1st!

Once again a beautiful trip to Nakusp. I've seen deer, bear, many wild Canadians, and I thought I saw a Bigfoot but it was just FJRay. Unfortunately, the most rare and elusive creature sighting eludes me: No sign of Old Michael. Again.
