Thanks very much, I'd been looking myself for the same reasons for almost a year. My order was accepted, it wasn't cheap but I like my current tool and didn't want to change so I bought it. Hopefully it'll ship with no issue.

My concerns would be that it not be too thick. The FJR stands pretty straight upright compared too most other bikes I've owned. In fact I almost always look for a parking spot that is lower on the left for that very reason. It's already cost me a new upper right fairing, and a very embarassed...

Boy these people are GREAT. I just recieved an email from Stephanie. She is trying to make up a set for the GEN1s. They need a liitle extra clearance on the fronts and minor mods for the rear. She said someone with a GEN1 had dropped by.... Thanks somebody. She is holding my order on the hopes...

I sure understand that... but with all the bikes that have recently went down I thought it possible someone had some forks that where toast. Its seldom the cap is damaged though forks are usually toasted often. Just thought I'd try, I can order new for about $90 but like to help out the guys...

I need a top cap /adjuster for the fork on a 05. Don't try to loosen it without unclamping the upper triple tree first. I learned from experience....lol :ph34r:

I just changed out the original Bridgestones on my 05 FJR. They came off at 10K on both front and rear. I ride 2 up about 50% of the time, with me at 180lbs and my rider at 150. I liked the Bridgestones but they don't hold a candle to the new Avons. I'm not seeing many of the issues discussed...
