Idle speed is att around 1100K. I am not convinced that it is the clutch, as you said, and your logic seems sound that it would affect all gears. Beyond the oil check, what's the next step, an expensive trip for a teardown and exam? :(

Does anyone have a copy of the instructions for installation of the sidebags that came with the bike? I have misplaced my copy, apparently. I have searched the forum and can't find anything other than stories that want me to make double sure these things are attached properly. Thanks!

I've done a search, but cannot find info on the YES warranty for an 06 that is out of original 1 year warranty - I know you can still buy the extended YES warranty, but can you still get it for 48 months, or is the only option 12 or 24? I have heard conflicting info. Yama website is no help.

I am starting to see 2007 A models new in the crate for the low 11s, used 2006 A models in the 8-9K area. Always wondered what the dealer cost was on these things.
