    Hauling your FJR

I hauled my Truimph in the bed of a double-cab Tacoma. The bed was only five feet, so the bike was out to the end of the tailgate. Hauling it was no big deal, loading and unloading it sucked. I've since bought a trailer, so I've never had to haul the FJR on a truck. MP

    Back in the saddle

That's what happened to me, I wandered into the shop, the next thing I knew I was riding home on an FJR...Heck, my WIFE was even spellbound! SHE'S the one that insisted on buying it! :yahoo:

    Dropped My FJR

Thanks for the sympathy...No, we weren't geared up like we should've been, but at least she wasn't wearing shorts and flip-flops. I haven't decided about repairs...It really isn't very noticable. I'd hate to spend cash getting it fixed, then do it again!

    Dropped My FJR

Well...Crud! My wife and I were out on a short ride when I stopped at a tourist attraction of sorts. I was forced to stop on a left decline, and the extra weight was too much for my skinny legs to handle. It could have been worse, scratches on the bag, and engine, Wife's skinned elbow, my...

    first long ride on FJR

I've only done 120 or so...Last Fri, and again on Sat. I took my wife from central KY to Huntington WV to visit family/freinds. Her first trip on an Interstate. It was pretty fun...only one really bad truck turbulaence incident. I don't know if she'll do anything longer than that trip or...

    My quiet FJR

I've got EPCO glasspacks on my Thruxton...I think it sounds great. They're not obnoxious tho...and i take it easy around town. I'm planning on leaving the stockers on the FJR...It's just a completely different animal altogether.

    I'm lovin' this bike!

How does it compare to your Triumph? How does it compare to the Triumph? Hmm...the Thruxton has low, clip-on bars, so for now I can corner quicker on it. I'm sure it's just a getting-used-to thing, because technically speaking, the FJR will HAVE to handle better. (Monoshock vs. twin springs...

    I'm lovin' this bike!

I've had the FJR a week now. Yesterday I took it out for 120 or so miles on the twisties. What a great machine! It handles so well, and my goodness! The power! It's definitely NOT your father's touring bike, is it!? :D
