I'm shifting between 4k to 7k depending on how quick I want to move. I've found the shifting is actually much smoother now. It's not often I get out of 3rd any more. 2nd does well for most city driving, any thing more than 45mph I'll typically go to third. 4th is when I want to have some fun and...

Taken at the Pali Tunnel (by request from UncleHud) This was one of my favorites from that trip Interesting fact. This was my last ride as a single man. Got married a few days after.

Recently went on ride around Oahu. Thought I'd share the trip with y'all. Firstly, new windscreen I installed.

I've definitely noticed very little change in my MPG by raising my shifting point. What I have noticed, is a bigger grin on my face, a much more enjoyable bike, more love for my bike, and a much more responsive bike.

Thanks for the help. The bike has gotten a lot more fun to ride, still going to play around with it and see what I like best.

Howdy folks. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on when to shift to maximize all 5 gears. The factory recommended shift points are fine and all, but I feel like I can get more out of the bike. Thanks in advance.
