05 Not Starting

Greetings from NC...retired Air Force...shipped bike from UK. Had to run the tank dry for shipment. Bike hasn't started since. Diagnostics on injectors good. The bike starts briefly when I spray starter fluid in airbox. Fuel rail pressurizes good. Have thought about clogged injectors but cannot loosen fuel rail screws. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated!! HELP!!

My guess is air is still in the fuel lines. Try cycling the key on/off several times to repeatedly cycle the fuel pump and pressurized the system. Then try starting again. Repeat as necessary. You also might want to disconnect the fuel line where it enters the fuel rail and cycle the pump and have it 'squirt' some fuel out (into a bottle or cup) to ensure all air is out.

I doubt it's the injectors. They seem to be relatively bulletproof on this bike.

On Gen2 can run diag code 50? (check manual?)to make fuel pp run..

Same as Gen1?

Can you look into the tank and see if there is anything blocking the little sock where the fuel is drawn into the pump?
