I have been looking around at prices for the 05 R1 and was wondering what ya'll thought would be a good price for the 05?

I'm not in a hurry to buy, but if I can come across a good enough deal, I'm really considering it!

I'm thinking with the introduction of the 06 that I may be able to get a good deal on a 05

These will be the best prices you can get anywhere. Try to get somewhere close to these.

On the other hand, I have a 2004 silver for sale in Dallas.

Depends on where you live. With the price of gas, it might pay to get something a bit more expensive but closer. When I bought the FJR in @ Jarman's in VA it wasn't cost effective to go to the dealer in AL to save a bit more money If you're on the east coast, try Honda East in OH, Jarman's in VA and (although the dealer name escapes me right now) a big one in NC I stopped by when I had the house there. Watch the cycletrader site as well.
